Acceptable Stay
spacious room clean room huge selection high price chargeable tea missing replenishment
I stayed in a beautiful double or twin room. The room was spacious and very clean. The breakfast had a huge selection of choices. The staff were friendly and helpful.
My expectations were perhaps too high. The extra tea and coffee for the room were not replenished. They were chargeable, so I bought drinks from a local shop. The price was quite high regarding the hotel condition.

street noise high price
Breakfast was excellent. I liked the assortment of options available each morning.
The room I had (a Junior Suite) faced the street. This meant a lot of noise early each morning as delivery trucks arrived. The price felt high considering the noise and the condition of the room (I expect things to be perfect).

a mixed experience
street facing room lack privacy
my expectations weren't fully met. the room given was not ideal. it faced directly onto the street and lacked privacy. street lights shone through the curtains at night and i could see people passing by. i had requested a room away from the elevator and on a higher floor, but that was not the case.

quiet street many cafés
the breakfast included fruit cocktail plus yogurts. i ate cereal and bread. a toaster was available too. i was very charmed by the location because it was on a very quiet cobblestone street. many restaurants and cafés were very nearby.
the parking garage felt a bit tight and old.

Quiet stay close to attractions
tea machine coffee machine attentive staff quiet location
Our room included modern amenities. I appreciated the tea and coffee machine. The staff was really attentive. The breakfast had fresh fruit every day. They cooked eggs and desserts to order. I found the front desk staff very helpful. The location was quiet. It was an easy walk to the Charles Bridge.
The parking garage was very tight, and I found the car elevator a little difficult to use.

musty smell poor soundproofing
my so called junior suite felt rather tired. the furniture looked like it had seen better days and had this weird musty smell. also the soundproofing wasn't great i could hear street noise late into the night making sleep a challenge. i guess i expected a bit more from a place with such a high rating. plus my room overlooked some kind of service area so the view was just air conditioning units.
